South Jersey Driving School, Inc., is a full-service driving school based in Moorestown, NJ in Burlington County. We started in 1983 with one car, and after all these years, South Jersey Driving School is still working with students preparing them to be safe, responsible drivers. We’re even teaching the children of our former students!

South Jersey Driving School is proud to be a family-owned business that continues to provide quality driver education since 1983. South Jersey Driving School has taught more than 100,000 students in their over three decades in business. The school is still owned and operated by its passionate and dedicated founders, MaryBeth and Tony Caracci.
Here’s a little bit about the South Jersey Driving School team of expert driving instructors:
Tom McGrail, of Sicklerville, NJ, formerly owned a driving school and has been a long-time friend of South Jersey Driving School. His love of people has kept him working as a part-time driving instructor for many years. Anyone who learns from Tom will benefit from his experience and friendly style. He’s a down-to-earth person who enjoys working with teens. Tom is married to Debbie and they have a grown son, and son in law and a daughter. They also have a grandson, Jace, who Tom loves spending time with.
Mike Celano has been a driving instructor for many years, starting out at a school in Central, NJ. He has now been a long-time driving instructor with South Jersey Driving School, bringing a lot of experience to the students he teaches. He also works overnights at UPS as a supervisor for the preload shift. Mike enjoys going to the gym and is an avid runner with South Jersey Running Club “Run856”. Mike also enjoys watching football (He’s a big Dallas Cowboys fan, but we won’t hold that against him.) Mike and his wife, Kim, reside in Sicklerville.
George Cecala, of Moorestown, NJ, is a popular member of the South Jersey Driving School team. George has driving experience as the official driver for the president of the State Bar Association of New Jersey.
George enjoys teaching the students of South Jersey Driving School the proper and safe techniques to become a NJ licensed driver. We’re very fortunate to have George as a member of the South Jersey Driving School staff!
Matthew Davis, of Riverside, NJ, is a part-time driving instructor with South Jersey Driving School. Matt graduated from Holy Cross High School (GO LANCERS!) and Montclair State University. Matt is a physical education teacher and health instructor. In his free time, he enjoys the beach and playing sports. Matt is a new homeowner and is recently engaged. We will keep you posted on the wedding. Matt is passionate about educating teenagers in his teaching and driving instruction roles, and you can tell…just ask any of his former students!
Chuck Harrison, of Delran, joined South Jersey Driving School after retiring from the Information and Technology Industry. Chuck served in the US Air force and achieved his Bachelors of Science Degree in Marketing graduating from Glassboro State College, now Rowan University after his discharge. Chuck and his wife Barbara are long time residents of Delran and proud parents of two grown sons, Dr Kevin Harrison, of Richmond VA and Greg Harrison, of Delran. They are proud grandparents of four. Both Chuck and Barbara are original and active members of the Resurrection Parish in Delran, both are Eucharistic Ministers and Chuck co chairs the Bishops Annual Appeal of the Trenton Diocese. Chuck has actively coached Little League Baseball and competitive Club Soccer with his two sons over the years. In his spare time he enjoys golf, hanging out at the Jersey Shore and gardening.
Siena Cashan, of Moorestown, is a recent graduate of Montclair State University, with a degree in International Business and Entrepreneurship, is South Jersey Driving School’s newly hired Business Manager. When she is not working, Siena enjoys running, playing and teaching tennis, traveling and going to the beach. She is a team player and great asset to our staff.
Christian Torino, of Delanco, is one of our part-time driving instructors. He is a graduate of Hunterdon Central High School and Kean University where he played football and lacrosse.
Chris is a physical education and health teacher and athletic coordinator at Foundation Academy Charter School in Trenton. In his full-time job as a teacher, Chris is passionate that all his students secure the academic knowledge and skills to prepare them for college and to instill in them the core values of caring, respect, responsibility, and honesty. Chris will bring this same approach during his driving instruction to ensure all his students have the skills and knowledge to be complete drivers.
He and his wife, Nina, have two young sons and two dogs, Budha and Reese. In his free time, Chris enjoys the beach and coaching.
Anthony Nocito, of Delran, is a part-time driving instructor for South Jersey Driving School. A graduate of Delran High School, Anthony has his bachelor’s degree from Washburn University in Kansas. Anthony works full time as a Correctional Officer for the Burlington County Department of Corrections. As a former high school basketball coach, Anthony has experience working with high school students and enjoys helping them achieve their goals, especially now when it comes to learning how to drive! Anthony is married to Jill Nocito and they are the happy parents of a young, son, Luca, and a new baby girl, Serena.
Barbara Young, of Cinnaminson, is a Health and Physical Education teacher at Moorestown High School.
She joined our team at South Jersey Driving School bringing with her more than 20 years of teaching experience. She is a graduate of Moorestown High School and Michigan State University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Physiology. In addition, she received a Master of Art’s degree in Teaching and Learning with Technology and a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa.
She resides in Cinnaminson with her husband, David. Their daughter, Shelby, is currently a student at Catholic University. She loves her “dachshund babies” Chester & Mazie.
Kiki Shontz, of Delran, is our part-time administrative assistant at the Moorestown office. She brings to the job experience in customer service having worked extensively in the retail industry and various positions at Holy Cross Academy. In addition, she currently works as a suite attendant at the Eagles games. Kiki is married to her husband, Scott, and has three children; daughter Brianna, who is working as an Occupational Therapist after graduating from Ithaca College; Zachary, a recent graduate from the University of South Carolina, is working as a Project Engineer at BSI Construction, and Jaden, a student at Auburn University, is studying Dietetics and Nutrition.
Joe Fuhs, of Delanco, NJ, is a licensed agent with South Jersey Diving School. Joe takes students to their NJ Road Test and sees it as “an important and exciting day for the kids!”
Joe is married to Lynn and is proud of his two children, four grandchildren and two step grand twins! Joe is retired after a 45 year long career, and when not working with us, enjoys fishing, spending time with his family and watching basketball.
Joe also coached basketball and baseball for the Delanco Youth Association for 10 years.
Bill Jackamonis, of Delran, is a part-time driving instructor with South Jersey Driving School. Bill is responsible for taking our students to their Road Test appointments. As a licensed agent, Bill also makes trips to the Motor Vehicle Commission to purchase and validate our student’s permits.
Bill is retired from Fed Ex and most recently managed the Motor Vehicle Commission office in Mount Holly where he worked for nine years. Bill is also a NJSIAA certified referee for basketball and football.
He is married to his wife Jackie, who works for the Riverside Board of Education, and the father of two grown children, both of whom are teachers, and a proud grandfather.
